An update on the incident in Embu has been reported. A teacher, along with several preschool children, was hospitalized after a bee attack at a daycare.
According to a report from Citizen Digital, the teacher and four children are recuperating at Granton and Polly Private Hospital in Kathangariri, Embu North Sub-county. Five other children were treated and discharged.

A clinician at the hospital confirmed that the patients were rushed to the facility, with some suffering anaphylactic reactions. While some were discharged, the teacher and four children were admitted for observation and have since been stabilized.
